Surgical and Prosthetic Principles to Predictably Provide the ‘Third Dentition’ with Dr. Mark Adams
This presentation will focus on the protocol developed over ten years in a multi-center network that predictably provides patients that
are edentulous or nearly edentulous with hope. The dynamic interactions of surgical and prosthetic clinicians and dental laboratory
technicians in the establishment of predictable protocols, the rationale for surgical and prosthetic procedures, as well as treatment
planning concepts that contribute to long-term success will be discussed. A step-by-step surgical, prosthetic and laboratory process
will be reviewed, and solutions to challenges and clinical complications experienced by a multi-center network that has delivered over
50,000 full-arch restorations will be presented.

Dr. Tom Berry
Dr. Berry was born in Omaha, Nebraska and raised in Wichita, Kansas. He attended Kansas State University and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1980. He received his dental education at Creighton University School of Dentistry where he graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1983. He completed his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Emory University. Dr. Berry returned to Omaha where he graduated Magna Cum Laude from Creighton University School of Medicine in 1988. He completed a one-year Surgery Internship at Georgia Baptist Medical Center in Atlanta, Georgia before starting in private practice in Atlanta in 1989.
Dr. Berry is a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and a Diplomate of the National Dental Board of Anesthesiology. He has been an oral surgeon for the ClearChoice Dental Implant Center in Atlanta for 9 years. Dr. Berry has served on the Clinical Advisory Board for ClearChoice for the past 6 years and is past Chairman. He is the Coordinator for Surgical Mentoring for ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers. Also, he is a member of Neodent’s Clinical Advisory team for new product innovation. Dr. Berry serves on the Alumni Advisory Board for Creighton University School of Dentistry. After 28 years, Dr. Berry has retired from private practice to focus on surgery and surgical mentoring for ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers.
