All-on-4® Treatment Concept: A Graft-Avoiding Protocol for Full-Arch Prosthetic Rehabilitation

Edentulous patients as well as individuals with failing dentition who want a fixed prosthetic rehabilitation face time-consuming, uncomfortable, and costly bone grafting procedures. For patients and dental clinicians treating them, the perceived complexity of rehabilitation is perhaps one of the most difficult obstacles to overcome on the road to treatment acceptance. The All-on-4® treatment concept represents a streamlined approach to treatment with elimination of grafting and utilizing minimal armamentarium available in most surgical offices.

However, simplicity of the concept does not always lead to ease of execution or success of overall treatment. To be successful at All-on-4® one must recognize the absolute requirements that must be satisfied in all cases. During this lecture the speakers will draw on their vast experience to highlight the absolute surgical and prosthetic factors to be considered for successful treatment. The speakers will also outline modifications of the All-on-4® Treatment Concept principals in situations where traditional approach would be difficult or require excessive bone removal. criteria and Surgical techniques will be discussed in depth utilizing actual case footage.

Dr. Saj Jivraj Biography
Dr. Saj Jivraj completed his dental degree at the University of Manchester in England and his advanced Prosthodontic training at the Herman Ostrow University of Southern California School of Dentistry. He is the Former chairman section of fixed prosthodontics and operative dentistry at the University of Southern California School of Dentistry.

Dr. Jivraj has published numerous articles on esthetic and implant dentistry in peer-reviewed journals and has presented on aspects of implant dentistry and advanced prosthodontic procedures, both nationally and internationally. He is the co-author of the textbook “Treatment Planning in Implant Dentistry,” published by the British Dental Association. He is on the editorial board of the “Journal of Esthetic and Restorative Dentistry,” is an ad hoc reviewer for the “Journal of Prosthetic Dentistry” and is Clinical Editor for “Dental Teamwork” magazine.

Dr. Jivraj currently holds a faculty position as a clinical associate professor at the USC School of Dentistry, is an honorary clinical teacher at the Eastman Dental Institute in London. He maintains a private practice limited to Prosthodontics and Implant dentistry in Oxnard CA.
