Optimizing Full Arch Immediate Reconstruction with Site Specific Implants with Dr. Costa Nicolopoulos

This combined surgical and prosthetic based presentation will focus on the way in which site specific implants can be used to optimize
full arch immediate implant reconstruction. Indications, diagnosis and treatment planning concepts will be addressed in this dual
specialist approach. This will be followed by a description of the protocol and critical techniques that are essential for long term
predictability. The many advantages that site specific implants provide, will be featured by way of comprehensive case presentations
with long term follow-up. This presentation will draw on the presenter’s 23 year experience of immediate full arch reconstruction.

• Key factors of the surgical technique, prosthetic design and execution in order to achieve predictable success

Dr. Safa Tahmasebi
Dr. Safa Tahmasebi Completed his Bachelor’s degree in Biology and a minor in Biochemistry at Saint John’s University Queens New York in 2004 with a full scholarship based on academic performance. In 2005 he joined State University of New York at Buffalo School of Dental Medicine where he attained his Doctor of Dental Surgery and qualified as a doctor of dental surgery in 2009. He Joined the Albert Einstein Medical hospital of Montefiore in Bronx New York where he completed one-year hospital dentistry residency. In 2013 he completed three and half year full time training in prosthodontics and surgical training with a masters degree in prosthodontics at the West Virginia University School of dentistry. During this time, he was an adjunct clinical instructor to the undergraduate programs at the WVU University. In 2013 he joined the SameDay Dental implants Brånemark Osseointegration Center (BOC) Dubai as a full time prosthodontist specializing in full mouth rehabilitation, immediate loading and Smile reconstruction. Together with a maxillofacial surgeon, prosthodontists, in-house laboratory, an internal imaging center and highly trained surgical assistants he makes up the SameDay team which specialize in full mouth implant reconstruction via a two visit protocol. Since 2013 he has been a cardinal member of the SameDay team working closely with other members of the team delivering the world class SameDay treatment protocol. Dr Tahmasebi has written a few papers in local dental journals about the SameDay protocol and in particular about the 1-2-3mm-12 degree-zirconia abutment protocol which ensures the fabrication of a single screw retained implant restoration in the esthetic zone within six hours. He has lectured numerously in South Africa, Belgium, USA and the UAE.
