No Bone? No Problem – Full Arch, Immediate Load Implant Solutions for the Severely Atrophic Maxilla and Mandible

This presentation will showcase full arch immediate implant reconstruction cases utilizing zygomatic and subperiosteal implants along with a full arch digital workflow with photogrammetry.  A comprehensive workflow from diagnostics to surgery, and prosthetics with maintenance will be covered in detail.  A true team approach (surgical, restorative, and lab) with commitment to detail is important for predictable and long-term success of these cases.

  • Explore the application of surgical flexibility utilizing both axial and zygomatic implants

Dr. Philip J. Hedger Biography

Dr. Philip J. Hedger is a Prosthodontist for Coastal Jaw Surgery in Trinity, Florida. Dr. Hedger is a faculty member of the Pikos Institute where he teaches implant prosthodontics. He assists in teaching dentists and hygienists in the Tampa Bay area through Coastal Jaw Surgery’s Pinnacle and Hygiene Study Club held at the Pikos Institute in Trinity, Florida.

Dr. Philip J. Hedger was born in St. Petersburg, Florida and grew up in Palm Harbor, Florida. He attended the University of Florida in Gainesville, Florida for his undergraduate studies in Nutrition and received his dental doctorate from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. During his time at the University of Florida College of Dentistry, Dr. Hedger was Class President and Class Representative. He then completed an Advanced Prosthodontics Residency at the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Dentistry in Chicago, Illinois.

Dr. Philip J. Hedger is a member of the American College of Prosthodontists, Florida Prosthodontic Association, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, West Coast District Dental Association, Upper Pinellas County Dental Association, West Pasco Dental Association, and Pinnacle Study Club of Tampa Bay. Dr. Hedger is a Board Member for the Upper Pinellas County Dental Association and Upper Pinellas County Dental Peer Review

Dr. Hedger specializes in treating dental and facial issues that involve restoring missing teeth. He is highly trained in cosmetics, dental implants, crowns, bridges, dentures and temporomandibular disorders (TMJ/TMD).
